Statement from Mr.Johnson
It is with great sadness that I am writing to inform you that after nearly 10 years as the headteacher of Rumworth School and a career of 39 years working as a teacher in seven different schools, I have now made the difficult decision to retire at the end of this academic year. I have handed the school governors my resignation and they have now begun the process of looking for my successor.
